High quality work, at very good value prices

We posted a request on the FMB website for some work that needed doing at our house. Tom responded quickly and followed up with a visit to discuss options and budgets. This followed on a day or so later with a detailed quote. The work was scheduled to start a few weeks later and on the morning Tom and his team turned up, we introduced ourselves and reviewed what needed doing and a rough schedule.

We were having a retaining wall rebuilt between our property and next door, a complex lintel replacement that was holding up the entire back corner of the house, an internal ceiling replaced and a lot of pointing. Despite the start day being over 30C, the team had demolished the old wall and dug out for new foundations. They were on site for 6 days in all, and honestly, it was a pleasure dealing with the team. The lintel was installed without incident, as was the internal ceiling, and the pointing was matched to the existing original construction. Everything was done with care and attention to detail, and the site was cleaned up each day.

Tom was onsite daily to check progress and at the end of the job we did a final walk around to sign everything off.
